Fernando Egozcue Tango

Argentine composer, director, and guitarist of new or folk-rooted music. Based in Madrid since 1992, he holds a higher degree from the National Conservatory of Music of Buenos Aires and from the "Padre Soler" Conservatory in San Lorenzo del Escorial, Madrid. He studied composition with maestro Guillermo Graetzer, a student of Paul Hindemith. He composes for small and large orchestral formations, as well as music for theater, film, and dance.

Egozcue's music is deeply rooted in Argentine tradition and intensely emotive, conceived as chamber music with strong and fluid rhythmic development. His classical training combined with the influence of jazz and contemporary music gives way to the passion and expressive power of authentic, true, and captivating music... achieving a unique musical genre all his own, which has established him as a renowned composer and performer.

FERNANDO EGOZCUE - Guitarra y composición

Tiene 11 discos editados como compositor y guitarrista; actuaciones en España (Teatro Real de Madrid, Liceo de Barcelona, Palau de las artes de Valencia, Auditorio Nacional de Música, Patio del Conde Duque de Madrid, etc.), Francia, Italia, Mónaco, UK, Suiza, Alemania, Noruega, Grecia, Turquía, Rumanía, Argentina, Canadá, USA, México, Líbano, Chipre, Jordania, Omán, etc.

Compositor, arreglista y guitarrista del grupo "Ensamble Nuevo Tango" entre 1998 y 2009. Trabaja con el violinista Ara Malikian desde hace 15 años: "500 Motivaciones" (2000), Lejos (2007) y "Con los ojos cerrados" (2011), con el actor Alberto San Juan en el espectáculo "Todo dice que sí" (2013) y con el cantaor José Mercé, la cantante Pasión Vega y el tenor José Manuel Zapata en el espectáculo "Mano a Mano" (2010) y en sus formaciones a Quinteto, Trío o como solista de guitarra.

El compositor argentino Astor Piazzolla le regaló su obra "500 Motivaciones" que estreno en Buenos Aires, junto al grupo Nuevos Aires, en el Teatro Gral. San Martín de Buenos Aires en ocasión de nombrarle "Ciudadano ilustre de la ciudad".

Su música es utilizada en los más diversos ámbitos y disciplinas artísticas, desde la gimnasta española Carolina Rodríguez en la final de los juegos olímpicos de Londres 2012. Colaborador permanente del bailarín, coreógrafo y actual director del Ballet Nacional de España, Antonio Najarro, con quien realiza los espectáculos "Tango Flamenco" (2002), "Jazzing Flamenco" (2008) y actualmente "Alento" (2015).

THOMAS POTHIRON - Violin

Thomas Potiron is one of the most talented and unconventional violinists in today's music scene. His professional career is enviable.

After winning first prize in violin at the Paris Conservatory in 2001, he joined the symphony orchestra of the Teatro Real in Madrid at the age of 22.

A year later, his restless spirit led him to become part of the successful show Pagagnini, where he now serves as first violin, replacing Ara Malikian. Eager for new musical challenges, he began exploring the electric realm.

At just 23 years old, he became the principal violinist of the Madrid Opera Symphony Orchestra, but his restless spirit led him to change course and join the successful show «Pagagnini». Since 2016, he has replaced Ara Malikian as first violin. Known for his versatility, he has also become a reference in this country as a flamenco violinist.

He made his solo debut in 2018 as the opening act for Supertramp, before becoming a benchmark for the electric violin and the art of loop station, with his very personal versions.

CRISTINA DE VEGA - Dance

At the age of 4, she begins to dance at the Liceo Bougor school in Getafe. At 8 years old, she joins the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Mariemma (Madrid) to continue her dance studies. In 2003, she completes her intermediate degree studies as a professional dancer.

That same year, she wins the First Special Prize in the Spanish and Flamenco dance category at the VII National Dance Call of Castellón. Thanks to this award, she obtains a scholarship for the Spanish National Ballet. At the age of 19, she joins the prestigious Spanish and Flamenco dance company Rojas & Rodriguez, touring the world's most prestigious theaters for more than ten years: New York, Moscow, Seoul, London, Shanghai, Paris, and many others...

In the 2006-2007 season, she participates in numerous productions as part of the chorus at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid. She also collaborates with other companies, such as that of renowned jotero Miguel Ángel Berna, Carmen Cortés, Manuel Liñán and Daniel Doña, Carmen Cantero and Ricardo López, Emilio Ochando & Co., Danzatedanza, Nani Paños and Rafael.
